Job Captain is a full-time position in our West Sacramento office. The Job Captain bridges the gap between design and construction by coordinating technical drawings, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that the project is executed to plan. The role requires a blend of technical proficiency, coordination skills, and effective communication. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of general drafting experience or 1+ year of industry-specific drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus), and an eagerness to grow their career.
Job duties
- Prepare construction documents from concept through construction
- Develop specifications, details, and drawings in AutoCAD
- Participate in quality reviews
- Manage revisions of documentation
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary drawings and designs
- Collaborate with various internal and external teams
